Washing Your Wig or Extensions

How Often to Wash

Unlike natural hair, wigs and extensions don't need frequent washing. We recommend washing every 10–15 wears, or when you notice product buildup. Over-washing can reduce the lifespan of your hair.

Step-by-Step Washing Instructions

1. Detangle FirstGently brush through the hair with a wide-tooth comb, starting from the ends and working your way up to the roots.
2. Prepare WaterFill a basin with cool to lukewarm water. Never use hot water as it can damage the hair fibers.
3. Add ShampooAdd a small amount of sulfate-free, gentle shampoo to the water. Swirl to create suds.
4. Wash GentlySubmerge the wig or extensions and gently swish in the water. Do not rub, twist, or wring. Let it soak for 5 minutes.
5. Rinse ThoroughlyRinse under cool running water until all shampoo is removed. Gently squeeze out excess water.
6. ConditionApply a moisturizing conditioner from mid-length to ends. Avoid the cap or wefts. Leave for 3–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Styling & Heat

Heat Styling Guidelines

While our human hair wigs and extensions can be heat styled, it's important to use proper techniques to prevent damage:

• Always apply heat protectant spray before using any hot tools
• Use low to medium heat settings (280–320°F / 140–160°C)
• Limit heat styling to 2–3 times per week
• Allow hair to cool completely before brushing or styling further

Daily Storage

• Store in a breathable silk or satin bag, or in the original packaging
• Place in a cool, dry location away from moisture and dust

• Brush from bottom to top, holding the weft or bond to avoid pulling
